The printing supplies market is now on the verge of big changes. Market is in a need for more efficient services then before. Outsourcing more and more of companies activities are getting more popular as search for efficiency is key driver in current market situation. The situation with printer supplies is no different. According to the international research of „Photizo group“ most of the companies head manager‘s would give away their printer‘s fleet and it‘s managing to the outsourced partners. They would also like to be charged per copy monthly rather than purchasing cartridges on demand, as it is first option is easier to control. Another thing highlighted by research was that renting the printers is more appreciated than owning them.
Forecast of the study says that 35% of the market will go to the MPS providers in 2012, while this number to grow up to 50% in 2013. Customers will have to take care of their printers no longer. The service provider will have to make sure that the printer and copier is always functional and never runs out of the toner cartridge.
Up till now such services were provided just to very big corporate customers and service providers ran into a lot of operational issues.
